Charles H. Kayton joined Gonser Gerber Tinker Stuhr in 1969 and became a partner in 1974. His career in Institutional Advancement has spanned more than 40 years. He has served many organizations as consultant with periods of service ranging from 3 to 18 years, with a heavy emphasis on guiding institutions in building sound and properly organized advancement programs.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kayton was on the Development staff of Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, and of Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa. He holds a B.A. degree from Simpson College with a major in Business Administration. He also attended The American University, Washington, D.C., and Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa.

Mr. Kayton is a member of professional organizations, including the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, and Association of Fundraising Professionals (formerly National Society of Fundraising Executives). He was listed in the 1970 edition of Outstanding Young Men of America.
