Our firm is pleased to announce the appointment
of Guy W. Adams to our team of advancement consultants,
effective July 18, 2005. Most recently, Guy served as
Vice President for Development for Lindsey Wilson College,
Columbia, Kentucky, for 11 years. He has more than 20
years experience in institutional advancement. From
1994 until joining our firm, Guy led a highly successful
development program at Lindsey Wilson College. In the
fall of 2003, under his leadership, the College began
soliciting gifts for "Changing Lives," its
first comprehensive campaign with a goal to raise $33
million. In just 22 months of active solicitation, more
than $30 million or 91 percent of the campaign goal
was raised. During his tenure, Lindsey Wilson College
gift income increased by 288%, an ongoing major gifts
program was established, and total donors increased
by 121%.

| Prior to joining Gonser
Gerber Tinker Stuhr, he served as Director of Development
for Lees-McRae College, Banner Elk, North Carolina and as
Vice President for Development at Mary Holmes College, West
Point, Mississippi, a historically Black college. Mr. Adams
also served as Assistant Director of Resource Development
at Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), Irving, Texas, and
as Assistant Director of Development at Christian Appalachian
Project (CAP), Lancaster, Kentucky. At MADD, his responsibilities
included corporate and foundation relations, cause-related
marketing, and serving as advisor to more than 400 MADD chapters
on fundraising initiatives. He conceived Project Red Ribbon.
At CAP, he was responsible for a direct mail campaign of 22
million pieces annually, produced in-house, and a donor base
of 1.2 million.
Mr. Adams received a B.A. degree in public relations from
Berea College, Berea, Kentucky. He has extensive additional
training in campaigns, major gifts, stewardship, and annual
giving.
As a consultant with GGTS, Guy
will serve client institutions with needs in strengthening
advancement programs, capital campaigns, major gifts, annual
giving, Board development, utilization of volunteers, endowment
and gift planning programs, public relations, communications,
and strategic planning.
Mr. Adams currently serves as Chair of the Second Century
Club of Berea College.
